How Audio Alert Works You simply attach the unit to a bed, chair, etc. Then affix the clip to any part of the patients clothing. The chord can then be sized to an appropriate length to meet the patients needs. If the patient decides to leave the immediate area the magnet at the end is pulled away from the unit causing it to emit a piercing alarm. This alerts staff to take appropriate action. Once the patient is secured the magnet is placed back on the unit and the alarm stops. One time fee! Save $10 when added on to a PERS or MedReady!
